This is a field of polygons arrayed on a grid. The distance from the center of each polygon to a control point located in the center of the voided circle in the upper left dictates the number of sides as well as the radius of each polygon. The further the polygons get from the point, the more circular they become. Starting from triangles, the polygons change type into circles by increasing resolution. This gradient naturally results in a field of varying density based on the number of intersections and the amount of overlap between adjacent polygons.
